Grant E. Reese

Grant Reese practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving contracts, shareholder/partnership disputes, noncompetition and trade secrets, disputes related to real estate transactions and property use issues, corporate dissolution/dissociations, and corporate insurance coverage. Grant also has significant experience advising medical professionals regarding risk mitigation and compliance issues.

A skilled writer, Grant has authored successful briefs before state and federal trial courts, the Alabama Supreme Court, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He recently served as lead counsel on a precedent-setting case involving matters of first impression before the Alabama Supreme Court, achieving a fully favorable result and complete dismissal for his client on claims of intentional conduct.

Before joining Badham & Buck, Grant practiced at a large Birmingham-based firm. Outside of the office, Grant enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and traveling. He is also a member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham.
