Grant Reese has a broad practice involving both business/corporate matters and litigation. In his corporate practice, Grant serves as outside general counsel to closely held businesses, represents financial institutions in commercial loan matters and the management of distressed assets, and advises clients through business formations and real estate transactions. In litigation, Grant represents both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving contracts, shareholder/partnership disputes, noncompetition and trade secrets, disputes related to real estate transactions and property use issues, corporate dissolution/dissociations, and corporate insurance coverage.

A skilled writer, Grant has authored successful briefs before state and federal trial courts, the Alabama Supreme Court, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.  He recently served as lead counsel on a precedent-setting case involving matters of first impression before the Alabama Supreme Court, achieving a fully favorable result and complete dismissal for his client on claims of intentional conduct.

Before joining Badham & Buck, Grant practiced at a large Birmingham-based firm. Outside of the office, Grant enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and traveling. He is also a member of the Phoenix Club of Birmingham and the Rotaract Club of Birmingham.
