Settled nationwide FLSA action on behalf of employees of health screening company.

Representing employees of a national provider of employee health screenings in a nationwide class action for failure to pay hourly wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”).

Won appeal before the Alabama Supreme Court representing 9-1-1 districts asserting claims against telephone service providers for failing to remit 9-1-1 charges.

Settled numerous cases for 9-1-1 districts and Alabama Statewide 9-1-1 Board against telephone services providers for failing to remit 9-1-1 charges.

After a 2.5 week trial, Badham & Buck, along with co-counsel Moore & Trousdale, obtained an $8.6 million jury verdict in Madison County, Alabama on behalf of Liveonthenet.com, Inc., a Huntsville-based online company. The case involved claims for theft of trade secrets and fraudulent concealment against Digium, Inc. arising from a software development project.

Obtained $3.5 million judgment in Oklahoma federal court for Professional Employer Organization against insurance holding company for breach of contract.

Awarded summary judgment for a law firm client on claims relating to a real estate foreclosure. Eleventh Circuit affirmed summary judgment.

Obtained summary judgment for a private railroad that had been sued for breach of contract and fraud by a transportation company

Won summary judgment on behalf of FDIC, as Receiver for Washington Mutual Bank, in wrongful foreclosure lawsuit

Negotiated a substantial settlement for a pregnant mother who was involved in a head-on collision with a drunk driver

Earned a multi-million dollar arbitration award in commercial dispute

Recovered in excess of $2.5 Million for clients who suffered catastrophic injuries in a motorcycle accident

Achieved multi-million dollar settlement on behalf of a bank against a big four accounting firm in a professional malpractice suit related to bank audits

Settled a national class action against a provider of cable services relating to service protection plan charges

Settled national class action against a vacation rental company related to damage waiver fee

Achieved a settlement in a derivative action on behalf of policyholders of a mutual insurance company against the Directors and Officers of the company for mismanagement and lack of oversight

Recovered substantial six-figure settlement for cyclist injured in a collision with a service repair truck

Obtained substantial six-figure jury verdict for client in a dispute over the sale of a manufacturing and retail business.

Obtained a court-ordered release from a non-compete agreement for a client in the software industry.
